temper temper

those of you who know me will know I have a temper…it was only a question of time…

so, after being tailgated for miles by a posh car towing a horse box and finally to their joy, and my relief, overtaken, and then tailgated by a massive tanker, I could feel myself starting to loose it. I didn’t want to end up squashed by the lorry, so I accelerated away and lo, there was the bloody horsebox! So I thought, let’s see how the other half lives and ran right up his arse mercilessly from Long Preston to Gisburn on the A682 – about 7.5 miles. I can report that the road was narrow and windy, 40mph steady would have been sensible. It was exhausting tailing him, and the more I did it, the more furious I felt. Blood pressure rising nicely. I saw no scenery whatsoever, just his tail-lights. No doubt it was a joy for him having the possibility of a RAV4 ramming his precious bloodstock. Best bit was giving him the finger when he turned left and I turned right.

No, I won’t do that again. I’m not proud and I feel for people who drive like that all the time.

I can also report that people’s stupidity when driving is in inverse proportion to the number of characters in their number plate, and also the witticism thereof. Pity Pimlico Plumbers.

Now I’m making tea and looking at the stunning view, waiting for my blood pressure to drop!
